Real World Shapes allow children to see 2D and 3D shapes in everyday objects (tissue box = rectangular prism, basketball = sphere, button = circle).
Directions: Print and cut out objects and shapes. Use a sorting tray to have students sort the objects by their shape.
This activity can also be used to teach the difference between 2D and 3D shapes.
