Product Description
There are five writing assignments in this product concentrated on a particular set of focus correction areas. I have even included a challenge focus area too to differentiate for more proficient writers. Each assignment has a peer editing sheet as well as a rubric. ALL pages were created in Word and are editable.

These writing assignments are part of a bigger real writing BINGO board. Each section of the board is a different focus area of real life writing assignments that students may encounter in their school career. All of the assignments have a "real" audience and purpose. The full project is Common Core aligned and available on my Teachers Pay Teachers store.

Project Summary: Everyday people write for different purposes. This project will take an everyday situation and allow you to express your opinion or present information to another person.

Purpose: To apply the six traits of writing to a real life writing situation.

Audience: Your audience is a person trying to use an everyday object (O1), another teenager (O2, O3), someone you have hurt or are thanking (O4), or a company or person you are directing a complaint.

Format: user manual (O1), pamphlet (O2), essay (O3), card/ friendly letter (O4), business letter (O5)

Focus Correction Areas: six traits (organization, conventions, voice, ideas, sentence fluency, word choice)

Challenge Focus Correction Area: Use four different types of punctuation (identify the four rules you followed on the back of the paper)
