This set of math task cards provides students with math problems based on the skills outlined in NWEA's Learning Continuum for MAP testing for the specified RIT Band. Skills include:
*Approximate the location of irrational numbers on a number line. Compare and order real numbers.
*Convert between decimals and fractions.
*Calculate the percent one number is of another number for percents greater than 100.
*Add and subtract complex numbers.
*Complete complex conversions of customary units of length, capacity, and weight involving fractions, decimals, or more than two units.
*Complete conversions of metric units of capacity, length, and mass.
*Complete complex conversions of more than two units of time.
These practice problems are designed to provide students with exposure to specific 231 – 240 RIT Band skills and concepts that they are ready to develop. This resource can be used for differentiated instruction, math workshops, cooperative learning, and board games.
Each skill has 8 task cards that builds students’ critical thinking skills and test taking skills. Each skill has the following task cards:
*2 short answer tasks
*2 multiple-choice tasks
*2 extended response tasks
*1 find the error task
*1 create a question task
