Give your students a communicative, information gap activity to practice the verb jugar a conjugations as well as 4B target vocabulary (sports).
First, put students in pairs. Then, give them one sheet per pair. Have one student in the pair find the dashed line (---------) and tear the paper in half (al estilo hamburguesa). Then, each student gets one half sheet of paper, titled either Estudiante A or Estudiante B. Very important to emphasize that the students do NOT look at their partner’s paper; the point is to receive their information from their partner’s speaking. I put up a barrier between the two of them (a book standing up works great).
This is a great activity, but make sure you understand the instructions as well before leading the class. Although the instructions are written on the paper, I would go through the model as a class. Once your students understand the activity, this can be a frequent practice that develops spontaneous speaking (interpersonal and presentation modes.)
