I use Realidades 1 in my Spanish 1 classes, but often write my own exams and activities. You will find concepts from Chapter 1B, but also find a few additional concepts, as well.
This exam includes two parts. I first give students part 1, which includes the receptive skills of listening and reading comprehension. I include a listening script (see last page) that the teacher reads. I read the script 2 or 3 times for students, and they must choose true/false for the statements given on section A. Section B is a reading comprehension activity with questions in English over the reading. Students need to answer the questions in English.
Part 2 focuses on vocabulary and grammar, as well as a writing assessment on the last section. These are some concepts that appear in the exam: descriptions/adjectives (physical & personality), translations, ser and tener, subject pronouns, people & pets, answer questions in full sentences, and a writing prompt centered around descriptions.
