This vocabulary introduction packet requires students to complete 3 activities to learn the vocab. Because the vocabulary is easier than other chapters, the English is given to them and they have to write the Spanish (all students complete this). Then students have a choice of two routes to take (translate to Spanish or translate to English). The 2 level 3 activities include reading sentences and completing a family tree based on the sentences OR creating their own family tree (based on template) and writing sentences to describe the relationships.
If you have done an activity like this in class, the students should know what to do. Have them read over the first page for a do-now and then immediately start in class. The majority will finish it all in class, however, some will not. Whatever they don't finish is homework. I collect the packet the next day for a grade.
