Use this game to review vocabulary and grammar (stem-changing present tense verbs and positive/negative words) in context. Some people play this by dividing into teams, but I personally like to seat the students in groups of four where they are going against each other:
Only materials needed are dice, whiteboard markers and a whiteboard(one of each per group of 4),. The students in each group are competing against each other (not as a team). Each student is A, B, C, or D. But when one member of the group rolls the die, the number rolled tells you which people can compete to answer the question. The teacher says ¡Vamos! and the people allowed to answer reach for the whiteboard marker. The first to reach it must write it correctly on the whiteboard to get the points, or other group members can steal.
It's a powerful activity because you don't have one dominant kid answering every time, and small groups mean more participation.
