This is an activity I designed to get my students thinking about how to to use affirmative and negative "tú" commands in Spanish.
In the activity, students write a letter to their moms to explain the process of forming the commands in Spanish. This meta-cognitive step should give them a solid foundation. As a teacher, it also gives you the opportunity to informally assess the students; you will know exactly what they understand about the process by simply reading their explanations.
The lesson includes a printable sheet with a brief introduction and a short description and explanation of the requirements of the activity. The lesson also includes tips and hints for the teacher on how to make the most of the assignment.
I included both a PDF file, for ease of printing, and a doc file, for ease of editing in this product.
