This worksheet is designed to accompany the grammar concepts presented in Realidades 2, Chapter 1A. It could be given as homework, left as a sub plan, or turned into a quiz.
Section 1: There are 20 Spanish sentences, and the students have to choose between the preterite of entender, almorzar, pedir, repetir, or empezar (verbs that have spelling changes in the 3rd person preterite). If you want to modify this part to make it easier for lower-level classes, you could always give them the verb in parentheses after each blank instead of making them choose. :)
Section 2: matching the affirmative / negative words (alguien, nada, nadie, algo, siempre, nunca, tampoco, etc.)
Section 3: a conversation in which they have to choose the appropriate affirmative or negative word based on context.
