This story uses the vocabulary from Chapter 1A of the Realidades 2 textbook and how to formulate rules using hay que and se prohíbe. You can use the slides to circle the usage of these expressions and review the key vocabulary of the chapter. The story is told in the past which allows the teacher to expose the students to the past tense earlier than the textbook presents it and use it without teaching it explicitly. The last couple of slides ask for the students to elicit the rule. This is a great way to use the CI approach while sticking to the textbook.
