This file begins with an informational sheet which includes a definition and an explanation of the realistic fiction genre; I termed it (non-) fiction because the assignment asks students to write their essays based upon experiences from their own lives, so it's somewhat of a personal narrative as well.
There is also:
- A project sheet with detailed directions and a rubric
- A peer-edit sheet
- A self-edit sheet
- A chart for sentence length/structure/variation for students to fill in during the revision process to help improve their writing
