PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a DBQ (document based question) that was developed as part of a Teaching American History grant program. It examines why people chose to fight in the American Revolutionary War. In addition to the cry of "taxation without representation" which is traditionally cited in texts, students examine a number of primary and secondary resources to determine some of the alternate motivations. Through work with multiple sources, students will understand that there were a number of reasons that fueled the patriot's cause.
