Teach Receptive and Expressive ID of Colors. Using a cutout view to decrease visual stimuli students focus on one color and one response at a time. Ask student to expressively ID a color when color dot is shown in isolation. When the dots are in an array of 3 ask student to receptively ID the color being taught. Student focuses on one color at a time for 16 trials. When the student masters one color, introduce another. Mix mastered colors. Great addition to any color unit. Great extra practice for home/school.
