Sheet contains 10 sequence of numbers. Students have to identify the rule in the middle column, and then tell the next two numbers in the sequence in the right column. First row of worksheet is an example as follows: 1, 8, 15, 22. The rule is add 7 to the previous number. The next two numbers in the sequence will be 29 and 36. Problems increase in difficulty to include multiplication by negatives and fractions, squaring, and finally two step patterns. Lastly the sheet contains 6 additional rows for students to generate their own sequence of numbers and ultimately switch their paper with a partner and identify the sequence and next two numbers in the sequence.
