Fun game to practice recognizing numbers 1-12, and counting dots on dice to 12. Dotzee is a much simpler version of Yahtzee.
Players roll two dice and either use one of the numbers rolled or add both dice together to come up with a number to cover on their board.
Students practice counting with one to one correspondence, recognizing numbers to 12, dice patterns to 12, and with practice use logic to decide which numbers come out with less frequency and should be covered up first.
Kindergarten students in my class love this game.
A black and white version is included to save ink. Students can color the numbers instead of covering them with bingo chips.
