AWARD WINNING PROJECT
The Reconciliation Project consists of three parts: a research report, a reconciliation project and then connecting it all together. The project has been designed to provide teachers with the freedom to choose their own project and connection.
It has been designed to meet Alberta Social Studies 9 curriculum outcomes, however it could be adapted for multiple grades and outcomes. Evaluation rubrics and exemplars are included. (Project time will vary depending on what is being done and how in-depth a teacher chooses to go.)
The project is one of the 2016 winners of the Government of Canada History Awards for Teaching.
