Reconstruction –Differential Instruction - 6 DI’s
I have used these work sheets as in class work. Some individual work, but mostly in groups.
Each group is given 2 DI’s , and if they finish early I give them a 3rd one. Usually this is an extra one that is not on the cover sheet ( last slide)
I make up the groups, based on ability and how attentive they are in class. Also, I try to put someone with “okay” drawing skills in each group, for some of the DI’s have poster or art work in the directions
I constantly make the rounds, making sure everyone is contributing.( I use a checklist of the students ) I will not give full credit unless I see the work. If some one does not contribute, I usually give that person the work to bring back in a day.
