An enduring issue is a challenge or problem that a society has faced and debated or discussed across time. An enduring issue is one that many societies have attempted to address with varying degrees of success.
In this assignment using documents and their knowledge of social studies students will be required to:
Identify and define an enduring issue raised by the set of the five documents provided.
Use their knowledge of social studies and evidence from the documents to argue why the issue they selected was significant and how it has endured across time.
This product includes a planning sheet, response guide, and a rubric. In the last pages I have provided additional documents that may support your instruction prior to introducing the enduring issue assignment.
