Description
This is part of my recorder program I developed over 4 years.
I teach recorder in 5th grade at a Title One (low income) school. With my system, every students earns 9 belts (24 songs), leading to a black belt in recorder. They learn to play 24 songs and become proficient on the recorder. Many go further to become experts on the recorder. My system allows the kids to go at their own pace and the higher ones also tutor the lower ones, allowing me to also work with the struggling kids as well as the gifted kids.
This includes 9 belts with 24 folk songs. Each belt page includes the new notes to be learned.
