Christmas Recorder Sheet Music - O Christmas Tree
This song is in the key of F major. The reason for that is, you need the range in order to play it, and that high E5 is a miserable note to play on the recorder. So, the notes used are C, E, F, G, A, Bb, C and D.
This song is written in 3/4 time. Though the song may look difficult for some students, it's actually a great dotted quarter, eighth to - sixteenth note lesson, because it's familiar and so repetitive.
✫ all bars are numbered..that's a big help when you're teaching a class.
✫ big notation
✫ all note names and a duplicate with no note names
✫ colored notes with corresponding colored recorder
✫ fun recorders showing the fingering for the notes
✫ crisp images (still gorgeous when using an "economy ink" setting)
✫ beautiful projections (300 dpi )
✫ low ink usage duplicate
✫ written on Lilypond (the highest
quality music software)
✫ four classroom-practice mp3's at 70, 75, 80 and 85 beats-per-minute. (tempo)
A "Teacher Key" is also included. I recommend you use a translucent recorder when you show your students.
Just thought I'd mention this: there's no "funny stuff" in these song arrangements. I've noticed some people like to put their own "personal touch", to Christmas songs. I'm not one of those people. They are transcribed traditionally, as most of us remember them.
