This beginner recorder music is transcribed as it is most often taught in schools. The song arrangement mirrors the most popular recorder program used in schools. The notes used are G, A and B.
✫ all bars are numbered..that's a big help when you're teaching a class.
✫ big notation
✫ all note names and a duplicate with no note names
✫ colored notes with corresponding colored recorder
✫ fun recorders showing the fingering for the notes
✫ crisp images (still gorgeous when using an "economy ink" setting)
✫ beautiful projections (300 dpi )
✫ low ink usage duplicate
✫ written on Lilypond (software which renders the highest
-quality sheet music)
✫ four classroom-practice mp3's at 65, 70, 75, 80 beats-per-minute (tempo)
A "Teacher Key" is also included. I recommend you use a translucent recorder when you show your students.

This song can be played as a trio or a duet
with these two transcriptions.
Gently Sleep – harmony 1
Gently Sleep – harmony 2
Duets are a fantastic way to introduce your students to new pitches or keep early finishers busy. Actually, I split the class right down the middle with duets. They have a hilarious time fighting over who's half nailed their part better...of course I instigate it. ;)
