Music Recorder - Michael, Row The Boat Ashore
This is a great dotted quarter note lesson because they start at the beginning of the first measure. Also, "..row_the .." is an excellent word-rhythm association for dotted quarter-eighth notes. The notes used are D, E, F#, G, A and B.
✫ all bars are numbered..that's a big help when you're teaching a class.
✫ big notation
✫ all note names and a duplicate with no note names
✫ colored notes with corresponding colored recorder
✫ fun recorders showing the fingering for the notes
✫ crisp images (still gorgeous when using an "economy ink" setting)
✫ beautiful projections (300 dpi )
✫ low ink usage duplicate
✫ written on Lilypond (software which renders the highest
-quality sheet music)
✫ five classroom-practice mp3's at 76, 86, 96, 106, 116 beats-per-minute (tempo)
A "Teacher Key" is also included. I recommend you use a translucent recorder when you show your students.
Please download Hot Cross Buns
for free, to try before you buy. The quality and layout of that resource is identical this one. A complete list of songs
available is in the product description.
Good to know:
would be a good song to "warm" your students up to this one. The timing is easier, the notes are the same and just a few of the notes are dotted. "Michael Row" has that pick-up measure and the song is longer.
If you have any questions or would like something "tweaked" (removing bar numbers for e.g.) do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for popping in. :)
