Recycled Styrofoam and Cardboard Printmaking Visual Arts Lesson for Grades K to 9
Recycled Styrofoam and Cardboard Printmaking Visual Arts Bundle for Grades K to 9, contains 4 lessons and one extra idea. Styrofoam shape prints for kindergarten to second grade has students using recycled styrofoam meat trays. Students will develop a relief print which concentrates on various line types and shapes. Fish and butterfly print for grades three and four, has students develop a relief print. This lesson focuses on various line types to create a symmetrical butterfly or asymmetrical fish with their environment. The idea is a positive negative portrait print. The students will print their designs using printing ink, and embellish the design with oil pastel.
In the center of interest styrofoam print for grades five to nine, students will develop a relief print with a focal point/center of interest using black and white. During the center of interest cardboard relief lesson for grades three to seven, students will develop a relief print using recycled cardboard with a focal point/center of interest. The students will print their designs using printing ink and overlap the prints.
