Welcome to the Recycling Can Book Report. This book report lets students share their love of a good book on a recycling can graphic. They recycle a good book, but suggesting it to others to read (again).
This worksheet will work well with any age of students, but especially with students from Kindergarten through fifth grade. On the first worksheet, students will choose a favorite book and write the title and author on an recycling can graphic while drawing a picture from the book. The second recycling can has the same information with an addition of why they like the book. The third worksheet doesn’t ask why they like the book, but students write what the book is about. The fourth worksheet takes away the drawing and has why they like the book and what it is about. All four of these worksheets work great for displays or bulletin boards. This worksheet also works well with the Trash Garbage Can Book Report. That project is similar to this one, but says that you are not “talking trash” and suggest this book.
Images for this worksheet are NOT in the public domain. I created the recycle can graphic, but the recycle symbol came from www.mycutegraphics.com
