This rhyming game is a great way to get kids up and moving to make kinesthetic connections while learning rhyming words. Great for studying rhyming words, Dr. Seuss week, or just about anytime of the year! Simply print on cardstock, laminate and then punch a small hole in the mouth of the fish. Loops a big paper clip through each hole and a magnet tied to the end of a string attached to a stick or ruler and you're ready to get started! The blue fish can do in one "pond" and the red in the other "pond." Students go fishing for a red fish and identify the word on it. Then they will go to find the matching rhyming word from the group of blue fish. I really had fun creating this game and my students love playing it! I hope yours will too! There are 14 sets of rhyming words in this activity.
