Product Description
This activity uses the book I SAID NO!: A KID-TO-KID GUIDE TO KEEPING PRIVATE PARTS PRIVATE By Zack & Kimberly King. The counselor reads the book and reminds students that if friend or grown-up tries to touch their private areas, they need to raise a "RED FLAG" and say "NO!". I use this book with the 1st grade classrooms at my school but it can be used in other elementary grades as well. Also a great book to read with your own kids at home!
This is an excellent book because it brings to light the fact that other students try to trick their peers into these types of situations (perhaps on the bus or in the bathroom or, as in this book, at a sleep-over). Students draw a green and red flag to remember important message in the story.
