This activity was created as a review for red words in conjunction with the Orton Gillingham method. The concepts included are red words, nonsense x /ks/ words, and nonsense -ff, -ll, -ss, -zz (FLOSS) words.
You may want to add additional concept sentences, depending on how far (when playing the game with movement), you want your students to go.
The following red words are included:
away, there, minutes, almost, always, people, where, were, want, what, does, odd, above.
The directions for two activities are included in greater detail if you purchase this product. One of the activities incorporates MOVEMENT, just like in the original Red Light, Green Light game. Students each grab a sentence, read it, and determine if the words in the sentence qualify as green (phonetic) or red (non-phonetic) words.
