Featured on TES Resources as a "Recommended Resource" for teachers!
Red Ribbon Week and Character Counts Week usually happen around the same time. I found it somewhat difficult to teach my first graders about being drug free without getting into really specific detail that I didn't feel was appropriate for younger grades. So, I thought I would create my own material! I wanted to focus more on being healthy and what they can do to be healthy kids. I also included a section at the end on "Character Counts." This aims at helping them understand how to develop their character and how to be a good person and friend. I hope this helps you as much as it did me!
