This purchase is for a complete bundle of Elementary, age appropriate Red Ribbon Week lessons and writing booklets. These booklets and activities are K-5 appropriate focusing on resisting peer pressure and making safe and healthy choices. They are focused on positive choices rather than specific drug and alcohol references.
There are 8 booklets included in this bundle. There are four main themes and 2 booklets for each theme (one booklet with handwriting lines and space for drawing pictures for younger students; and one booklet with lined pages for more extensive writing responses).
The themes are as follows:
Kids with Character are Drug Free (Respectful, Responsible, Safe, Caring, True)
We Elect to Be Drug Free (election themed)
Spotlight on Healthy Choices (Boss Baby, Star Wars & movies; Hollywood Theme)
The Best Me Drug Free (teamwork themed)
Each Booklet is 8 pages with 5 days of writing prompts (one per day). In addition to the prompts, booklets include a red ribbon week pledge, and 4 activities (word find, writing web, coloring page and fill in the blank); plus the cover and back cover.
In addition to the booklets there are 5 Lessons/activities: Red Ribbon Week Jeopardy, Peer Pressure Gauge Tic Tac Toe, Peer Pressure Cross the Line, Daily Choices (choices and consequences), and Safe & Healthy Choices (sorting and choices). These lessons are used with K-4th graders. See the individual lessons in my store for more info.
Finally, this bundle also includes a bonus sheet of 5 Red Ribbon Week bookmarks. These are black and white and I usually print them on red paper.
It is never too early to start teaching prevention and encouraging safe and healthy choices. These booklets are age appropriate and I use them with K-4 students.
