This is an elementary age appropriate Red Ribbon Week lesson about peer pressure.
Slides include discussion about the meaning of red ribbon week; peer pressure tricks; saying no tricks; and then a jeopardy game. Jeopardy categories include: Peer Pressure: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly; Drug & Alcohol Facts; WWYD: What Would You Do; and Peer Pressure Tricks of the Trade.
I do this lesson with 4th grade students, but could easily work with 5th and 6th as well. We go through the first couple slides in depth, giving examples and then split the class into two teams to play jeopardy.
The students are always very engaged and go away with deeper knowledge about the concept of peer pressure and how to say no.
