This is a great way to celebrate Red Ribbon Week by encouraging your kids to make good choices. This pack includes templates of leaves for your students to color (or watercolor) that you can use for a bulletin board or a door decoration. There are also two writing pages included to encourage your students to go a step beyond in their learning.
Last year I used these leaves for a bulletin board for Drug Awareness. I had each child pick one leaf to color (I preprinted them on cardstock). We then decided what colors that can be seen in the fall (green, brown, orange, yellow and red). We pulled those colors out of our colored pencils and the kids were allowed to color with only those colors. The leaves were absolutely beautiful. We put them on a bulletin board with the heading "We be-leaf in making great choices).
I have also included a writing page that goes with making good decisions and a graphic organizer to go with this unit.
This can be used to make a beautiful bulletin board or to decorate your classroom door.
