Looking for a multipurpose piece for your recorder piece?
This is the product for you!
Red River Valley, a popular beginning recorder song, as a solo, duet, and trio!
Teach your students the importance of playing with others.
In order to play this piece, students must know how to play the following notes on the recorder:
Part 1: D, E, G, A, B, high C, high D
Part 2: G, A, B
Part 3: D, G, B, high D
Part 1 is more difficult than Part 2 and Part 3 and can be used to challenge a more advanced performer.
This is a great piece for differentiation. Need to differentiate for different skill levels? Have your highest level students play the melody. The two harmony parts are both simpler, and part 2 would be great for your students who have not mastered playing notes with two hands. Students who can only play G, A, B can still successfully play this piece. Part 3 is great for practicing that low D and differentiating between a high and low D on the recorder.
Short and sweet. Your students will love playing this easy arrangement!
