Red, a Crayon's Story by Michael Hall is a wonderful picture book about a red crayon who seems to make blue pictures. It is a story of kindness, perseverance, and never giving up. Michael Hall is a great writer of children's books. You will want to read another if you read one.

This resource has pages for preschoolers, kindergartners and first graders. Color words and coloring for beginning readers and comprehension pages for first graders. Pages include:
