With standard based grading, students are invited to redo summative assessments to show they are proficient. To ensure that students learn the material there has to be some work done before the redo. Therefore, redos will require some effort on the student's' part. First, when students want a redo, they must complete the redo slip. Students are given a set of requirements to complete, such as completing an intervention sheet and receiving a parent signature. When all steps are completed, the student is able to try the assessment again.
