Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: 40 Task Cards
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Task Cards are a great way to familiarize and strengthen your class' knowledge about how to effectively recycle, compost and use the black bin.
The task cards are great for Earth Day, teaching students about how to care for the environment as part of a science unit and to reinforce class routines and rules in regards to properly using the recycling bin, compost bin and black bin.
Answer sheets are included so students can write down their responses to the task cards.
Answer keys are included so you can quickly answer students' questions.

Task cards can be used in a variety of ways:
• In a center / centers
• In a small group / small groups
• Set up around the room for students to walk around and write their answers on the answer sheet / recording sheet
• Scavenger Hunt style. Students have to look around the classroom to find the cards and answer the questions
• In groups. Groups get a certain amount of time to answer the questions on the task cards and then pass the questions to the next group
• A game of Scoot
