Reduced due to start of school year. From $12.99 to $5.00
This is a planner I put together for myself to help organize my reflection of a previous school year and create a methodical way to think about changes to curriculum for the next year. I print my pages out and write on them, and customize my own binder by using colored pens, washi tape tabs, and stickers. For me, this is an entire-summer project, but I tend to work on it for a few hours each week to help it stay purposeful and leave time for other summer fun.
Within this file, you will receive a PDF with 66 pages. You will be able to look and choose which pages are most helpful to your own purposes. Within the file there are 3 pages of teacher notes, a dated monthly calendar from May through September (to help you find your own summer break), dated weekly calendars from May through September, and several reflection pages.
This file DOES CONTAIN some teacher reflections that can be PURCHASED INDEPENDENTLY in my TeacherPayTeacher Store. Please note that they are some of the same reflections.
Reflection Pages are forms that guide thinking about topics and ask questions, as well as leave a place to make plans for next year. I tend to work on one reflection per week, thinking specifically about where I am and what I want to change for the next year.
*End of the Year
*Beginning of the Year
*8 "Topics" - Visual Data (Graphing), Math Connections, Engineering Connections, Science Literacy, Writing, Vocabulary, Class Procedures & Class Culture, Opening & Closing Activities, as well as a "General" that allows you to pick your own topic.
*Yearly GOAL sheet & reflection
*Book Study Reflection
*Professional Development Reflection
*Lesson Plan Reflection
The last 2 pages are blank lined pages that can printed and used for notes.
This file allows you to print and customize your own reflection journal to focus on curriculum planning for next year. I print one for each of my courses that I teach, and spend some time thinking about how this year met my goals, and what I want to change and improve for next year. If I attend professional development over the summer I create a reflection to think about how I will use what I learned in class. If I read books that relate to science or my class (or even find current events), I print a page and reflect on how to use it in class, and then stick it in my binder.
By the time I am finished, I've spent a little time each week during the summer thinking about my classes for the next year, and I come back to school in the fall energized and with some great goals and plans to help get my school year off to a great start!
You will receive a PDF that contains 66 pages. You may print whatever pages are helpful to you, and print multiple copies for different courses you teach, or different topics that you need a lot of reflection on.
