Introduce your students to print reference sources with this beginning packet of activities. The packet includes:
Reference Source introduction page
-10 question practice page for each source- Encyclopedia, Atlas, Almanac, Dictionary, Thesaurus
-Answer Key for each question page
-Search for the Best, students choose the best reference source
-Reference Quest class activity. Teams of students use reference sources to answer 24
-Quest Cards, with answer recording sheet.

Great way to introduce skills students will need when you integrate the Common Core Standards of Reading and Writing Information texts.
