This is a great activity to practice using reference materials and locating where to look for information. In this activity, students read a card and based on the information on the card have to decide where they would look to find the information needed from the card. For example one card states: where would you look to find words that mean the same as like, and students would put that under thesaurus. This activity can be self checking by writing the correct answer on the back of each informational card. Print on card stock, laminate for durability and have students practice using reference materials and locating information. This comes with a worksheet that can be used for individual practice or teacher assessment.
