Product Description
This is a great way to engage students in practicing how to reflect points on a coordinate plane. The will work in pairs (or by themselves) and draw from a deck of cards to create ordered pairs. Black cards represent positive numbers, and red represents negative numbers. Each ordered pair will be reflected over the x-axis and y-axis. I would suggest having them graph on their own paper because it will be a lot of points at the end! There is no answer key because each student will have different coordinates to graph.

Follows Common Core Standard: CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.6.NS.C.6.B
Understand signs of numbers in ordered pairs as indicating locations in quadrants of the coordinate plane; recognize that when two ordered pairs differ only by signs, the locations of the points are related by reflections across one or both axes.
