This resource is a fully differentiated lesson aimed at teaching Physics: Waves. This lesson has links to reflection, and the laws of reflection.

This lesson has 5 learning objectives that are structured in the IDEAL format:

*Identify images that have been reflected.

*Describe the properties of an image in a mirror in simple terms and investigate the laws of reflection.

*Explain how to construct an accurate ray diagram.

*Apply your understanding of ray diagrams to show how virtual images are formed.

*Link your understanding of diffuse scattering and specular reflection to explain why some surfaces form images by reflection, and others do not.

This lesson is designed with a challenge objective and challenge questions throughout to stretch your most able students, whilst supporting your LA students.
