This resource is a fully differentiated lesson aimed at teaching Physics: Waves. This lesson has links to reflection, and the laws of reflection.
This lesson has 5 learning objectives that are structured in the IDEAL format:
*Identify images that have been reflected.
*Describe the properties of an image in a mirror in simple terms and investigate the laws of reflection.
*Explain how to construct an accurate ray diagram.
*Apply your understanding of ray diagrams to show how virtual images are formed.
*Link your understanding of diffuse scattering and specular reflection to explain why some surfaces form images by reflection, and others do not.
This lesson is designed with a challenge objective and challenge questions throughout to stretch your most able students, whilst supporting your LA students.
Review the lesson before teaching to see how the animations and objectives will work in your lesson.
