Here is a collection of three graph art pictures for older students that allow them to practice reflecting points over the x and y axis to create a picture.
This a great resource to differentiate your lesson/math centers, because EACH picture has a different level of difficulty! One picture (the alien/robot) just has students reflect over the y-axis. The goldfish has students reflecting points over the x AND y-axis, and plotting points to complete the picture. The bear has students plotting and reflecting more complex points (in 0.5 increments) over the y-axis.
My students LOVED this activity, and the pictures that I did not use will go into my sub binder as an activity for when I need it.
Included in this file are:
3 different pictures for students to graph and an answer key to each. I did NOT include a coordinate grid, because they are readily available already on math sites.
