Wild West Reflection Journals! Common Core wants us to get our kids to think about what they are learning and reflect on it. We've created these journals as a way for students to track their learning. I LOVE using these in my classroom. During the day if we learn something neat, one of my kids will say 'Oh! I need to write that in my reflection journal!'. How can you not love that!! This packet includes a cover for a math, science, reading, and general reflection journal. There are pages for each subject that could be put inside a 3-ring binder behind each cover. These pages have room for students to put the date and a sentence about what they learned. There is also a summative page the students could fill out at the end of the week. They can look back through each journal and pick out their favorite thing they've learned from science, math, and reading. You could send them home at the end of the week for parents to sign so they can see what their children are learning about. We've also included a daily report and a weekly report for behavior. Every page has a Wild West theme. I hope you enjoy these and find them as useful as we do!
