PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a great way to promote higher thinking and problem solving while reviewing properties of conductors and insulators.

PowerPoint includes refresher guided notes on how light can be reflected, refracted, transmitted, or absorbed when it hits an object.

I print out the Riddle pages from the powerpoint 4 per page and cut them apart and tape them around the room. (normally on colored paper)

Student then must go around the room and using the clues figure out what the object is and then decide when light hits the object that it will either reflect, refract, absorb, or transmit.

Then as a class we review the answers to the riddles and how light interacts with the object described in the riddle.

My 6th grade classes really enjoyed this

For my AIG class they weren't allowed to talk during the activity and my EC students where given a list of all the answer words as help.
