This reflect, refract, and absorb cut and paste has students sorting through 12 different examples of reflections, refractions, and absorptions as well as their definitions.
This product can be differentiated in several ways:
1. Students can sort both the definitions and what is happening to the light on a recording sheet.
2. Students can use the recording sheet that already has the definitions and just sort what is happening to the light for less of a challenge.
3. Students can use the recording sheet that has all the blanks and write their own definitions and sort what is happening to the light for more of a challenge.
4. Students could place the sort in the foldable or use the foldable for notes in the classroom.
This could easily be placed in a science center for your students or used as an assessment of what they know!
