The reflection sheet focuses on the notion that for every action there is a reaction. For example when a child yells at a friend, the friend may yell back, push, run away, etc. It is an important skill for children to learn that their actions/words have consequences or reactions. This visual chart will help a child to better understand the progression of a social interaction and allow them time to reflect.
Two sheets have been included in this product—one for child/adult interactions and one for child/peer interactions. Students should be instructed on how to navigate the reflection sheet and should be allowed to practice filling it out with adult support before doing so independently.
