This no prep activity is an excellent ice breaker for the first week of school! It is a fun way for students to share what they did over the summer, while simultaneously reviewing vocabulary and building new relationships. Included is an engaging survey of 40 summer activities and ten detailed examples of how to immediately use their responses to get them moving and talking, such as human tic-tac-toe, find someone who, and reverse charades, just to name a few! The survey is in Spanish, but the teacher guide includes the English translations and a discussion guide to facilitate further conversation. This activity is ready to go and appropriate for all levels of Spanish. Clipart is embedded to help beginning students predict the meaning of words that they might not be familiar with and the discussion questions include the option of incorporating the preterite tense for Spanish 2 students.
