This 10 page packet is designed to allow students to answer the question "What were some of Martin Luther's arguments against the Catholic Church-In his Own Words?". Students will start by reading a short 1 page background reading on life in the Middle Ages, the role of the Catholic Church etc. then they will visit 6 stations to read multiple excerpts of Luther's original writings including the 95 Theses to answer that overall question. Document-Based questions on each excerpt, will guide students understanding of each document. At the conclusion of the activity, your students will complete a creative EXIT CARD activity...All materials, teacher directions and an answer key is included.
