Product Description
This package has been designed to analyse the refugee experience through a close analysis of five texts: The Happiest Refugee, The Island, Malala Yousafzais's UN Address, Persepolis and Zlata's Diary. The activities have been developed using the Super 6 strategies and include predicting, summarising, connecting, visualising, monitoring and questioning tasks.

Students will gain a deeper appreciation for the idea of lost childhood innocence and of the reasons why people seek refuge in other countries. The lessons could be conducted in reading groups or literature circles.
