This enduring issue prompt is labelled for Global Studies 10 week 10, but includes elements from the New York State Frameworks from topic 9.9. This is because I teach those elements at the start of Global 10. Documents in this collection include primary sources associated with Galileo`s troubles with the Church, the Tokugawa hostage system, the debate between Hobbes and Locke, a map of the major empires in 1750, and a French visitor to the Mogul court.
