A journey through the school year with my 2nd Grade class at a Reggio Emilia inspired school.
An in-depth view into the planning, curricular links, environment development and documentation of a real Reggio classroom.
Have you ever wondered how to incorporate Reggio Emilia approaches with older children? What does a Reggio classroom look like? How do you tie in science, math and language arts? What do the children actually DO?
This 47 page presentation will show how our project developed from an investigation about the physics of water to the development of a student-designed and constructed water table for the school's water atelier. We explored the interaction between light and water while learning about principles such as action and reaction, force and the transformation of energy.
Walk with us as we engage in a dialogue between the nature of energy and the energy of nature.
